Price isn't bad either. I ordered the large as I generally wear a 7 1/2 fitted hat and measure just a bit bit smaller then the listed max for the large. For me it is a snug fit, with the only complaint being a 2 inch pressure point right in the center of my forehead. The impact protection is provided by about an 1 1/2 of hard styrofoam with an padded insert to provided cushioning and a better feel. On the forehead it is just a bit to snug (for me at least) that the padding doesn't work and you can feel the styrofoam.
