They will slide right under the table for storage and make the kids feel like real people because they are eating at the table with us instead of isolated in a traditional high chair with a tray. Both chairs function great for my two toddlers, one 16 months and one 3 and 1/2 years. I'm writing this review to help those who are deciding between the two brands, and so am posting the same review to each product. FYI: The stain colors are very different, so if you want yours to match, buy from one manufacturer. The fit and finish are good and the assembly is quite easy. You literally just put the screws in. However, that's all fine and dandy until you go to strap your 1.5 year old in and find that the buckle on the strap is utter junk. We've used many of this "type" of high chair in restaurants and we've been able to firmly buckle our child in. The problem with this chair is that the buckle is really low grade quality and won't stay in. Infact, after using it only once my child has figured out that if he simple leans upwards the buckle will pop off with no problem. The buckle is really low grade quality and isn't anything as secure as the other types of buckles that you see in restaurant/commercial quality chairs. You don't get that "snap in place" sound and literally it comes apart at the slightest bit of pressure.I'm emailing the company to see if they will send me a replacement strap. The quality of the chairs is definitely better than expected. I highly recommend them: they are very sturdy and well-made. They also are the perfect height for pulling up to my kitchen table. |
